Charteroo.com was created for US charter schools by SearchEngineCorp.com. SearchEngineCorp.com is not affiliated with any or all of the charter schools listed but will donate half of all gross advertising proceeds earned by SearchEngineCorp.com from Charteroo.com to each school every quarter. This is explained in more detail in the Contributions to US charter schools section below.
Charteroo.com provides internet search services allowing retrieval of information and websites from the internet based upon queries generated by you (“the Charteroo.com Services”). By your use of the Charteroo.com Services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
Results Generated by Charteroo.com Services
The search results generated by your use of the Charteroo.com Services have been created or made available over the internet by persons unrelated to Charteroo.com. The search is an automated process, performed based upon the query generated by you. The process is automated, and neither SearchEngineCorp.com nor Charteroo.com exercise any review or censorship of the search results. Consequently, the results of any search may not be accurate or complete, and may include information and links to websites that are nonresponsive to the query, or which include adult, inappropriate, obscene, or other offensive material. In the event that this should occur, you should consider reformulating your query.
Personal Use Only
The Charteroo.com Services are made available for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not use the Charteroo.com Services to sell a product or service, or to increase traffic to your Web site for commercial reasons, such as advertising sales. Except for your personal use, you may not reproduce, copy, create derivative works of, or publicly display the results of your search or the Charteroo.com Services. Querying Limitations
Use of the Charteroo.com Services utilizing automated or redirected queries is not permitted. Without limiting the foregoing, use of the Charteroo.com Services in the following manner is prohibited:
- Generating queries for the purpose of ascertaining the ranking provided by the Charteroo.com Services in comparison to other search engines
- Use of a federated or metasearch function to generate queries to the Charteroo.com Services.
- Performing searches on Charteroo.com offline.
You may use the Charteroo.com Services only for searches based upon your actual desire to obtain information for your personal use from sources available on the internet and may not generate multiple or fictitious queries for the purpose of increasing revenue earned by Charteroo.com or donations to Reef Check.
Contributions to US Charter Schools
US Charter Schools will receive a proportion of the sum allocated by tracking for each school. SearchEngineCorp.com will distribute a minimum of 50 percent of revenues generated by the Charteroo.com Services to the individual charter schools listed at www.Charteroo.com. Charteroo.com will send each school a check quarterly providing they have accrued $100 or more during that quarter. If the school has earned less than $100, the funds will be allocated on a pro rata basis to those organizations which have met the minimum payment requirement. Charteroo.com and SearchEngineCorp.com are under no obligation to provide you with any verification of amounts generated by your use of the Charteroo.com Services, or information related to amounts donated to the environmental organizations.
